My Edge Journal Trading performance & review workspace

A trading journal that tracks more than numbers it reveals your behaviour in the market.

My Edge Journal is a personal workspace for logging, analysing, and reviewing your trades. The focus of the project is clarity of performance, spotting behavioural patterns, and making better decisions for the next trade.

Journal by Symbol / Strategy / Session
Auto-calculated R/R, Win rate, and PnL

What is the goal of this project?

This panel is built to help traders look beyond the result of a single trade. It allows you to see your behaviour over time: when you trade, which strategies truly perform, and in which markets you are actually consistent.

1️⃣

Structured journaling

Log trades by symbol, strategy, account, size, R/R, PnL, and attach your analysis screenshots.

2️⃣

Performance analytics

Analytics widgets such as PnL calendar, strategy and symbol distribution, and hourly trade activity.

3️⃣

Focus on your personal edge

Helps you identify where you actually have an edge and what should be removed from your checklist.

Core features of the panel

Actively developed – this project is alive.

  • Capture full trade details (entry, exit, SL, TP, size, and more).
  • Link each trade to an account, strategy, and symbol.
  • Attach analysis images and rich-text notes.

  • Hourly activity chart to understand your trading habits.

3 Multi-user & safe by design

  • Automatic user scoping applied to all reports and widgets.

4 Built to extend for yourself

  • Powered by Laravel & Filament – adding new widgets and reports is straightforward.
  • Database structure is ready for future ideas (backtesting, tags, and more).

Suggested usage workflow

  1. 1. After each trade, log the details and attach the chart screenshot in your journal.
  2. 2. At the end of the day or week, review the PnL calendar and strategy charts.
  3. 3. Spot repeating patterns (bad hours, weak symbols, poor setups) and adjust your checklist.
